Mallow are holding Feile in Mallow on Saturday 22nd March at 11am. Feile is an U14 football competition.  As mentioned in previous weekly notes the structure for Feile is slightly different this year.  Regional games will take place around the county this weekend with the winners progressing. We have Midleton ,Blarney & Bride Rovers in our group. These are sure to be competitive games so if you’re around give a call up and support the boys.

Moving to Grass Pitches

The next few weeks will see the clocks going forward and the start of longer evenings.  At that stage all training will move to grass pitches so be sure to check with your coach to see what day and time you will be training.  A full schedule will be posted on the notice board in the Club House and on twitter when it’s available.

Don’t forget to give a call to the Club Shop, open on Thursday nights from 6.30-7.30pm in the Club House.  The friendly volunteers will be happy to show you the great range of Mallow gear available both for training and leisure.
2013 U15 P2 Football Championship Recommences

The long awaited and highly anticipated 2013 Fe15 P2 Peil County Semi Final against Bishopstown will take place this Thursday night.  This game has been delayed since last October due to circumstances beyond our club’s control but we are pleased to report that the lads are just as eager to make the final as they were all those months ago. The game will take place in Mallow on Thursday night at 7.30pm and is also a 2014 Fe16 Peil league game as it involves all the same players.  Best wishes to their coach, all the mentors and most importantly to the boys themselves.  Go n-éirí libh!
On St. Patrick’s Day this year’s Fe15 footballers played St. Nick’s in Mallow and were convincing winners on a scoreline of Mallow 4-13 to St. Nick’s 3-06. Great credit is due to their trainer Sean Browne and the lads for starting the year on a winning note.  Let’s push on from here and make it a great year.
