Juvenile G.A.A. Notes

Cork U17 Football Panel
Congratulations to Kevin Doyle who is once again named on the Cork U17 football panel for the year. Kevin is an excellent goalkeeper, time and again he has quite literally put his body on the line to save a goal and win the game. Being part of the Cork development squads is no easy feat and it’s testament to Kevin’s skill and commitment that he has been part of the set up since U14.  On May 12th, when the summer training panels of 48 for Rebel Óg U14, U15 and U16 teams in both football and hurling will be announced, it is also planned to announce training panels of 48 at U17 level in both football and hurling, respectively. It hoped that this process will significantly aid the preparation of Cork Minor teams for 2015.   So watch this space!  We wish Kevin all the best for his continued success.

Mallow Fe 13 had a comprehensive win over Glanmire last Sunday 2nd March in a blustery Carrigoon. The visitors were overwhelmed by the movement and pace of the Mallow youngsters as they ran out winners on a scoreline of 4- 18 to 4-02. No doubt tougher tests lie ahead.
