Although already promoted to the County Division 1 League for 2020 our Footballers will be going all out to get their hands on the Division 2 trophy this Friday evening when they take on, West Cork side, Castlehaven in the County League Final.. Word is that all Inter County players will be released for the weekends games so the return of Matty and James to our side will be much welcomed but of course Castlehaven will be delighted with the return of the Hurley brothers and Mark Collins. It promises to be a fantastic game so don’t miss out..

Minor Footballers showing terrific form..
Having won six from six games in the Premier 2 County Minor Football League, and about to play Bishopstown in Round 7 at the time of going to press our Minor Footballers are playing superb football ahead of their Championship outing with Midleton next Wednesday. They played and defeated Buttevant last Wednesday away in a thrilling contest that was neck and neck down to the final whistle, eventually winning 2-17 to 2-14.. We wish them well for the coming week ahead..

Ladies Footballers win their second Championship outing.
Well done to our Ladies Footballers also who turned in another very fine performance winning back to back games in the County Junior Football Championship last Friday evening in Cloughduv, defeating Tadgh MacCarthaigh 4-14 to 2-11…
The girls will now face Castlehaven on the 19th August at home which would guarantee them a County Semi Final spot so we wish them all the very best…
