Despite the result 0-16 to 1-20 in Limericks favour, congrats to Niall O’Riordan who lined out with the Cork Minor Hurlers last Saturday in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. The Cork Minor Hurlers will face Waterford on Sunday week, 17th June,  in Thurles. We wish them well..
Congrats also to Aaron Sheehan who lined out with London last weekend and they easily saw off the challenge of Armagh in Armagh. Aaron’s input was 0-7 on the day which now brings a personal tally of 1-24 for the exiles who now face Wicklow in the The Ring Cup Semi Final next Saturday in Carlow at 1230pm.. Best of luck Aaron..
Club cleanup
Thanks to everyone for attending our club clean up on Wednesday evening, a lot of work was done. We up to repeat the same some evening in the coming weeks and we would be delighted to see some new faces. It’s only an hour or so to keep on top of maintenance in the club!!
Mallow GAA Eugene Carey memorial golf classic…
We are now just a two weeks away from the Mallow GAA Eugene Carey Memorial Golf Classic which has been confirmed for Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June next. There are still some slots available in this very popular golf classic so don’t hesitate to book your slots now. Teams of 3 is €150 which includes a post game meal or If you wish you could also kindly sponsor a tee box/ green for just €50. Maureen’s World Cup predictor…
The World Cup 2018 starts on Thurs 14th June. We in Maureen’s are running a predictor competition. The  prize is €500 for the person with the most points at the end of the competition. It will be run over 4 stages. Stage 1 requires you to pick the top 2 in each group along with the overall winner and the golden boot. In all further stages we will require you to pick the 90 minute result.
I have attached our rules and the stage 1 entry form for those wishing to take part. Stage 2 sheets will be available for collection from the pub or via e mail once the group stage has finished.
