Footballers into Quarter final stages..

Premier Intermediate Football Championship Round 2A FT Mallow 1-12 Ballingeary 0-11. After last weeks draw Mallow will now face the winners of Fermoy/Ballingeary in the quarter finals which are down for September 1st with venue and time to be confirmed. Well done and best of luck lads!!

Intermediate and Junior Hurling

Our Intermediate Hurlers, who are now on countdown to the PIHC Quarter final V Valley Rovers, return to competitive League action this week, when they meet Charleville. The game is fixed for this evening Friday 4th August at 715pm in Charleville. Please support..

Our Junior Hurlers will contest the Division 2 League Semi Final next Monday night against Fermoy, to see who will book a place in the League final against Liscarroll/Churchtown Gaels. The game is in Castletownroche and 715pm and we would be delighted to see you all there..

The Junior B Hurling Championship will be contested on a round robin format this year with Mallow’s first opponents Charleville followed by Ballyhea. Their opening round against Charleville was pencilled in for next Wednesday but as of yet has not been confirmed…

Congrats to our U-16 Hurlers who defeated Erin’s Own on a very impressive score line of Mallow 4-16 Erin’s Own 0-2…

The club would like to wish a huge best of luck to star Mallow and Cork U-17 Hurler Ronan Sheehan as well as all of the Cork panel and management next Sunday when they take on Dublin at headquarters, in the All Ireland final.. No doubt a massive day for all the Sheehan family, Mallow and Cork GAA..Rebels ABU!!

North Cork Country Music festival..

With now just a little over two weeks left to the big day, preparations in the clubhouse are now in full swing. There has been an big increase in ticket sales in the recent days so don’t hesitate any longer for what will be one of the best concerts this year. As you are now aware the price of the Festival, €25, considering the calibre of performers is just fantastic value. We’re not sure there is any other festival as good a bang for your buck. Tickets can be got from Mallow GAA sports complex and other outlets around town or just simply on the day. U-16’s go free when accompanied by an adult and you can enjoy the fantastic surroundings of Carrigoon where there is ample picnic areas, ample concert seating bar tents, catering tents, big dance floor and also wheelchair accessible facilities throughout the grounds. We really hope you come and join us and remember don’t forget the stetsons(which by the way will be on sale throughout the day)..
