Intermediate Football Challenge..
Our Intermediate Footballers face the Killarney Senior Football outfit Kilcummin this evening, Thursday 2nd, in a challenge game at home(weather permitting(. Throw in is at 73Opm and no doubt our lads would be delighted with your company.. Their first Senior League game, which is against Nemo Rangers, is Sunday 1Oth at 73Opm at home…
Intermediate Hurling.
Our Intermediate Hurlers who are currently going through their paces on the training ground are hoping to not only conquer the pitch this year but also the kitchen!!! Mallow native and currently one of the top Nutritionists in the Country, Jennifer Enderson O’Callaghan, will visit the club this coming Thursday at 9pm to give a talk to our Hurling panel. With greater physical demands on our players year in, year out the nutritional requirements of every player is now of huge importance. Jennifer will, no doubt, be going through extensively the do’s and don’ts of the sports persons diet.. Should be hugely interesting!!
The Hurlers have a while to wait yet before any competitive League action but on Sunday next, 5th, they face Bandon in a challenge game at home. The throw in time is 12 noon and again it would be great to see some support..

Cork Clubs draw
The third draw of the series took place last Thursday 26th January in Mayfield GAA Club and once again Mallow GAA had another lucky winner. Noel O’Connor, Ballyviniter, came out the right side in what was the clubs fourth winner out of five draws so far this year. Noel got himself a voucher for Cummins sports so no doubt will be the height of sporting fashion come Championship season.. We hear they are sold out of Tipperary jerseys so he will have to invest in the Cork colours!!!!!
You can join the draw for the remaining 7 months with 45% being returned to your club. Cork GAA Clubs Draw include prizes of €25,000, cars, holidays, & many more cash prizes.
You can now purchase a ticket online or through your Club from our draw rep Frank Killelea by ringing 022-50757..
