There were no league matches played in the central division last weekend following a decision taken at the Rebel Og central meeting on Wednesday, so it was very quiet action wise.
Our annual church gate collection will take place at Mallow masses this weekend. Please contribute if you can as every little helps.
Congratulations to Mallow footballer James Loughrey on captaining the victorious Cork team against Kildare in the national league.  James has been a great help to the Juvenile Club, coaching and giving the players advice and he is a superb role model for anyone who wants to play at the highest and indeed for everyone. He is proof that hard work, dedication and passion are key ingredients for success.
The deadline is approaching for club. Transfers and all applications must be in this week.
