Selection committees and mentors for each age group and code were elected.  Chairman Liam Sheehan thanked the outgoing selectors for their time and efforts and wished everyone well in their roles for the coming year.

There were suggestions and ideas from the floor on the night and it’s hoped that everyone who took the time to come to the meeting will work with the committee to make 2014 a successful year for the Club and the players.

Great work has been done behind the scenes encouraging new players and Schools Coach Wayne O Donnell is busy organising specific coaching sessions for these players. If you want your son to get involved in hurling or football for the year 2014, we’ll be taking new players born in 2007.  More details can be found at the fortnightly Juvenile Club meetings. We also have a notice board in the GAA Club House, it is located through the double doors in reception, immediately on your right on the main corridor to the Naionra.

The Club is hoping to organise a Ladies Committee for coming year, anyone who is interested is asked to contact the Runaí Marie Kelleher on 086-3201421.  We are always looking for fresh ideas and help so if you’d like to get involved come along to our next meeting this Thursday 30th January at 9pm in the Clubhouse.
