Mallow GAA

Thanks to our Hurling and Football sponsors O’Connell’s Ford, Mallow and Maureen’s Pub, O’Brien St.

Great results all round this week for our U21 and Intermediate Hurlers. Our U21’s are now through to a North Cork final for a second year running and are going very well. We better not jinx it though, our Intermediate Hurlers had a tough battle on Tuesday night against Aghada they came out on top finishing strong with the score line 2-14 to 2-13. It was a real winters night too a night you would miss Joe Hayes standing by the fence shouting everyone on winter, summer or whenever he was always there supporting the lads and how proud would he be of Sean now and the calibre of player he has become!!

Our Intermediate Footballers are out tonight Friday in their last league game and they play Glanworth at 730pm above in the club.

There has been a spate of robberies lately, at GAA clubs, during matches so if you are attending any games make sure you lock up and hide lap tops or wallets or anything of worth!!!!

If you can’t make Croke Park on Saturday make sure you come up to the club we have 5 wide screen televisions, a supervised bouncy Castle from 5-8pm, promotions and from 930pm fantastic traditional music will be played into the wee hrs in celebration of our All Ireland win….

Best of luck to the Cork Senior Hurlers and Ladies Footballers at the weekend!!!!!!
