U14s go top of the League

Mallow 6-14
Douglas 0-2

Our footballers continued their unbeaten run with a convincing defeat of Douglas at a windy Carrigoon on Sunday morning last.Playing an open brand of attacking football with more reliance on long foot passing rather than the now more normal short hand passing game played by most teams the result was never in doubt. All 15 players and 5 subs contributed in a game where Mallow were first to every ball and made the right decisions there after ,while there will be tougher battles ahead the the team is heading in the right direction .On Saturdaynext the boys turn their hands to the small ball when they travel to East Cork to play Carrigtowhill .Team V Douglas Daithi Heffernan Oisin Moynihan Conor O Sullivan Eoin O Leary Matthew Mc Glynn Kenneth Mills Oisin Carroll Eoin Murphy John Browne Shane Merrith Danny Buckley Ciaran Murphy David Nyhan Ben Slattery Conor O Riordan Subs Timmy mac Namara Gearoid Murphy Sean Woulfe Eoin Buckley Tom Duignan Jack Hadden Jack Dillon
