Juvenile Club Notes 10th April 2013

Mallow Juvenile GAA Club – sponsored by Dano’s Supervalu Mallow.
Flag Day – Our Annual Flag Day will take place this Friday and Saturday in several locations around the town, we look forward to your support.

Sun 14th Minor Hurling League Mallow v St Finbarrs in Carrigoon @ 11.30am
Mon 15th U16 Hurling League Mallow v Cu Chullainns in Kanturk @ 7pm
Tues 16th U14 Hurling League Mallow v Thomas Russells in Carrigoon @ 7pm

Feile Next Saturday in Carrigoon our U14 Hurlers will be in the Feile Qualifiers. In a group of 4 which includes Mallow, Ballincollig, Midleton and Watergrasshill. Each team will play 3 matches and matches are scheduled for 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Your support on the day would be appreciated.
U12 Hurlers last weekend played Glen Rovers in their latest game of league. All those who travelled got to play on the day and performed well. The coaches of both the U12 Football and Hurling teams want all players to attend training as matches are now been played on a weekly basis .
Training – U7, U8, U9, U10 will be training on Mondays and Thursdays with Hurling training on Mondays and Football training on Thursdays, all outdoors from 6.30-7.30pm. Don’t forget your mouth guards for football training.
U11 Hurling will train tonight Thursday 11th @ 6.30 – 7.30pm on Main Pitch
U11 Football / Hurling Training Schedule as and from Mon 15th April ,FOOTBALLERS will train on Mondays from 7-8pm on Pitch 2 and HURLING TRAINING will be Wednesday from 6.30-7.30pm on Pitch 2.
Registration – Registration evening took place recently, many thanks to all those who turned up on the night. A Reminder to all those still to register please contact your relevant coach who will organise forms.
MOUTHGUARDS – As the season is now kicked off all Players and parents please note the following; Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013  for all age grades up to U18.
First Aid – The club are currently looking  for First Aid assistants for all teams, if there is anyone who would be interested in helping with same please contact one of the committee.
