Herewith some information regarding parking in Thurles on saturday for the Cork v Wexford Game. This may be of assistance to any club member travelling by road to Thurles.Durlas Og are an independent Juvenile GAA club, catering for boys up to U16, will be using their grounds as a car park for the triple header in Thurles on Saturday. All proceeds will be going towards the recent development works undertaken, hurling wall and all weather training area.
We are the nearest car park to the old stand on the Holycross side of the stadium and would be most suitable for supporters from Cork approaching from Cashel. Toilet facilities both male and female will be open until last cars exit the field and we have never had problems with cars getting stuck in inclement weather such as we have had recently. We also provide free tea or coffee to all use our facilities and kids can have a puck around before.
Directions
At Cashel take exit 9 from the motorway and take the Holycross road underneath the Rock and continue through Holycross past the Abbey and onwards to Thurles, at the 1st roundabout in Thurles the Durlas Og car park sign and steward will be visible.
Other private car parks operate further out but we are hoping if you are going to use a car park that you would support the GAA and support Durlas Og.
Thanking you for your support in the past and looking for to future support this summer
Thanking you in advance & Regards
