Huge week for our Hurlers…
This week sees the return of our Intermediate Hurlers after an incredible four and a half month lay-off… It’s Round 3 of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship and we face the challenge of Kilworth next Saturday. Kilworth who lost out to Charleville in the first round overcame the challenge of Aghada, last years Intermediate Hurling champions, to book their place in the third round. Happily the game takes place on the plush sward of Castletownroche next Saturday at 430pm and we are hoping for a big Mallow contingent to be present.. See you all there, best of luck to Fergal, Tadhg, John and all of the boys…

If one championship game wasn’t enough this weekend we also have this years 2018 North Cork Junior Hurling Championship final to look forward too next Sunday afternoon, the 16th September. After seeing off the challenge of Ballyhea, in the Semi Final, in a thriller last week Mallow will meet Charleville in this years decider and it promises to be a fantastic affair.. Throw in is at 2pm in Buttevant and again hope you all can make the very short journey to support our lads… Best of luck to Joe, Seamus and Ray Cosgrove..
