Superior Mallow Footballers reach County Premier Intermediate Semi Final…
Mallow’s Intermediate Footballers have set up a County Semi final pairing with Bandon after, literally, blowing Ballingeary out of the water, in a rain drenched Coachford last Saturday. Over the sixty minutes Mallow had too much for Ballingeary and if conditions were more favourable a higher score could have accumulated in our favour. After a quiet together immediately after the game the Footballers returned to the training ground during the week and the next step on their journey is now their main priority. The full time score stood at 2-12 to 0-9 . We wish the lads the best in their preparations over the coming days and a huge well done again. The Footballers are out in the Division 1 League tomorrow Friday 8th when they take on Carbery Rangers in Cloghduv. The game has an 8pm throw in hope to see you all there!!

Intermediate Hurling..
Our Intermediate Hurlers played their last game, before Championship, on Monday night in a competitive tie with Limerick side Ballybrown in Carrigoon. Despite the heavy rain and winterish conditions the game was a fine, physical tussle in the second time the teams have met this year. A game that will stand to our lads when they meet Cloyne in the County Semi final on Saturday week in Pairc Ui Rinn, no doubt.. We wish them all the very best in the coming days..
Our Junior Hurlers will meet Charleville in the Avondhu Junior Hurling group 2 Championship final next Sunday at 4pm in Doneraile. After a great season thus far with a league title under their belt the boys will be looking to move their campaign on to the County stages but must first over come the challenge of Killavullen who won out group 1.. Interesting times ahead, best of luck lads..
U-16 Premier 2 Hurling County final replay…
After a spirited, drawn, game against Kiltha Og last Wednesday week the U-16 Hurlers must do it all again this coming Sunday 10th in Blarney. The game has a 2pm throw in and support is a must for this great young team! Best of luck lads…
