U-16 Hurlers through to County Final..
Congratulations to Pat Heffernan, Liam Sheehan, Colm Sheehan and the U-16 Hurlers who defeated St. Finbarrs last Tuesday night to book a place in the Premier 2 County Final.. It was a highly entertaining encounter throughout with very little separating the sides in the opening quarters! With three goals Mallow pushed ahead by nine points with less than ten minutes to the full time whistle but a late rally saw the Barrs reduce the deficit to two at the end of full time with a further 3 minutes of injury time to be played. Mallow held to the two point lead despite two near misses for goals by the Barrs in the dying minutes.. The full time score was Mallow 3-10 St. Finbarrs 3-8, the lads now face Ballincollig next Wednesday 10th at 815pm in Pairc Ui Rinn.. We wish all of the players and panel the very best….

U-21 A Hurling County Premier Championship
Mallow lost out by the narrowest of margins to Glen Rovers last Tuesday evening in Round 2 of the U-21 Hurling Championship at Mourneabbey. The full time score was Mallow 1-13 Glen Rovers 1-14 with a full match report to follow next week..

Avondhu Division 2 Junior Hurling League
Our Junior Hurlers have secured a semi final slot in the Division 2 League after another fine win over Ballyclough last Thursday evening. Mallow were the stronger team throughout and finished the contest with 15 points to spare over our near neighbours.. The final score was Mallow 2-25 Ballyclough 2-10 and our Juniors under the tutelage of Joe Daly, Tadgh O’Riordan and Fergal McCormack will now meet Churchtown in the league Semi Final next Sunday night. The game is fixed for Buttevant at 7pm.. The other League final involves Kilshannig and Kilworth with that game yet to be fixed.. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR LADS ON SUNDAY

Junior A Football Championship North Cork Semi Final..
Our Junior Footballers who are also at the business end of the Championship are eagerly awaiting their Championship semi final pairing with Fermoy. The game has now been confirmed for Sunday 21st August at 7pm in Kilavullen.. Best of luck lads!!

Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship..
Our Intermediate Hurlers will be seeking a place in the Co. Premier Intermediate hurling championship Quarter finals when they meet Watergrasshill next Saturday 6th August. The sides last met this time last year in a Round 4 tie with Mallow coming out on top that day. Watergrasshill have had a good year thus far, joint second in their respective League and defeating Blarney in the first round of the Championship only to lose out to Bandon in Round 2A.. No doubt next Saturday’s game will, hopefully, be a highly competitive encounter and we wish all the Mallow lads and their back room team the very best..The game is fixed for Castletownroche at 7pm, please get out there and support!!!
