Happy New year to all from Mallow GAA
Intermediate Footballers out next Sunday in Tom Creedon Cup..
2016 has already been a hive of action around the club in the last couple of weeks with Inter-County League Hurling and Football games and with some of the club teams already back on the training fields. This weekend our own Intermediate Footballers have their first outing of the New Year, in the Tom Creedon Cup, against Macroom in Round 2 next Sunday 17th at 1130pm at home in Carrigoon. The winners will then go on to meet the winners of Kiskeam/Glenville V Carrigaline circa Sunday 24th. The competition, as many of you now know, was called after that great Macroom and Cork Senior Footballer who died prematurely back in 1983. The Macroom GAA Club honour his name with this fantastic Football competition at the beginning of every year.. Best of luck to all teams..
