Our U-15 Footballers overcame a much fancied Douglas side last Wednesday night in Carrigoon, in the U-15 C3 Football League final. Mallow were the better side over the hour but credit to Douglas they fought back from a deficit of 1-7 to 0-5 at the short whistle. In fact only three points separated the sides with ten minutes to go but a fantastic goal by Peter Attridge saw them over the line. The full time score was Mallow 2-11 Douglas 2-7, the cup was presented by Mallow Juvenile Chairman Liam Sheehan to the great Captain Sean O’Sullivan. Well done all!!!
