Isn’t it grand to be still playing in September??
Thanks to everyone who came and supported the lads last week it accounted for so much especially in the last ten minutes when the pressure was on and the cries of support rallied the lads!! We hope you’ll do the same this weekend and next again when the U-21’s meet Fermoy tomorrow Saturday 5th in the A Hurling North Cork final, the game is fixed for Ballyhooly at 630pm. Our Intermediate Hurlers meet Newcestown in the County Championship Semi Final on Saturday week at 8pm in Pairc Ui Rinn and its 7 years since we found ourselves in such a position as regards Hurling. So support will be vital. Of course we wish the lads the very best of luck.. Maghealla ABU!!!

Congratulations to Cork U-17 Hurling manager Fergus Ryan and his selectors winning the 8th Eugene Carey
Memorial U-17 Hurling development tournament for 2015. Our own Fergus was at the helm again last year when Cork took the title so it bodes him very well in his new appointment as Cork Minor Hurling selector for 2015/2016 and of course everyone one in the club wishes him and the Cork Minor Hurling panel the very best of luck. Cork defeated Galway 3-9 to 0-8 and Dublin 2-15 to 1-9 to reach the final against a strong Tipperary side. Cork were the better team over the forty minutes and ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-9.. Rebels ABU!!!
