Thanks, as always, to our Hurling and Football Sponsors, O’Briens Garage and Maureen’s Pub, for their continued generosity..
Our Intermediate Hurlers turned in another fine performance last Saturday against a very physical and dogged Eire Og. Mallow’s Hurling was far superior at times with Eire Og’s emphasis more so on the physical battle. As the score line suggests Mallow ran out comfortably in the end with Eire Og accepting defeat some 10 minutes before the final whistle! Full time score was Mallow 4-20 Eire Og 0-11..
The Hurlers now face Kilbrittain this Sunday 12th April at 2pm in Mallow..
Our Intermediate Footballers will wish to remain top of the Division 3 Intermediate League table as they prepare to meet Glenville tonight Friday at 715pm in Watergrasshill in Round 6.. Mallow will be without the Stanton brothers as they grieve the loss of their grandmother. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the Stanton families!!

As the Juvenile Club are back up and running for 2015 Fergus Ryan who is now the Juvenile coaching co-ordinator would like to make an appeal to the adult section of the club especially all current and retired players to get involved. For the current players they would be looking for them to commit to one hour a week in either hurling or football. They would not have to go to matches or blitzes but help out with the coaching. Come on lads we surely have one hour a week to give back to our club in the coaching of our kids? ONE HOUR??? Gus can be contacted on 0866089413 or gusryan75@hotmail.com
