A good week over all for Mallow GAA Football with wins from our U-14's right up to our Intermediate team.. Last Friday our Intermediates played a fantastic League game away to St. Vincent's and were by far the better team. Full time score was 1-18 to 0-11. Also on Friday night the U16 Footballers overcame Kilshannig 1-14 to 3-5 and on Saturday the U14's repeated this feat also defeating Kilshannig 4-10 to 0-10. Our U21 Footballers reached the final of the Glenville GAA U21 Football tournament when they beat Aghada in a tough, physical game in a dense fog. The FT score was 2-7 to 2-4 and they now meet Castlehaven in the final which has yet to be fixed. Our Junior Footballers continued this good run last Tuesday when they easily defeated Liscarroll in their opening League game, 2-14 to 2-4. They now meet Ballyhooly tomorrow Friday 13th at 8pm in the club.
