The coming week:
Best of luck to our lads Killian O’Connor and Ryan Harkin in tonights MFC replay clash with Kerry in Tralee at 730pm
All seems to be going fairly well for the Intermediate footballers ahead of their clash against Nemo on Sunday 5th May in Blarney at 4pm. They had a league game on Wednesday and even though I wasn’t there the accounts are that they gave a great display and are in a very good place. They are a great bunch of lads on and off the pitch and they deserve every bit of good luck that comes their way and of course they deserve all of our support so make sure and be in Blarney next Sunday and out-voice that Nemo shower.
Our Junior Footballers also deserve our support in their first round Championship game against Kilworth tomorrow Saturday 27th April at 3pm in Ballyhooly. Come on now..
Also on Saturday 27th we have our Scrap metal fundraiser for the club where you can bring all your metal, tin, old cars, agricultural equipment e.t.c The drop point is the last car park on your right as you approach pitches 3 and 4 so get scrounging!!
As if that wasn’t enough to do on Saturday the very popular monthly traditional night in the club-house from 9pm with all the best of local traditional talent. Come early to get a seat…
Keiran Mills is currently putting all his cyclists through their paces ahead of their sponsored cycle to Dingle on May 11th from the club house(70+ miles). The cycle is in aid of the Jack and Jill foundation and your support for the cyclists would be very much supported. We currently have sponsorship cards in circulation so make sure and as they used to say ‘Buy a line’.
Make sure ye all read the following correspondence from the Tidy towns. It would be great to give something back to the community once a month…..
