On Saturday 23rd after getting out of jail last week the U-21 football Championship semi final between Mallow and Fermoy is on in Ballyhooly at 4pm.
Then Sunday at 5pm in Carrigoon it's the turn of our Intermediate footballers in the Co. Division 2 football league and they face the, always tough, Castletownbere..
On Sunday at 8pm our Junior Hurlers are out again this time against Newtown again at home.
Please support our teams if you can at all and the weather now seems to be on the turn so it's great to be getting back in the stands.. Also please remember our Football and Hurling sponsors Maureens Pub, O'Brien St, Mallow and O'Connells Ford, Cork Rd, Mallow respectively. They have been very good to our club so it's only fitting we support them whenever we can. On Saturday the 27th April we have a Scrap metal Saturday in the club which will go to raise some much needed funds for our teams, so make sure and gather all your scrap metal and bring it to Carrigoon between 9pm and 5pm and if you have any friends in the agricultural world make sure you get them to spread the word.. Millers(keiran) Wheelers who cycled all the way to Ventry last year to raise much needed funds for the Paul Curran trust are gearing up for another outing this Summer for another worthy cause. Keiran is now fully immersed in the planning stages and he is looking to take the outing this year to Dingle on the 11th May( Saturday). He is looking for Cyclists, volunteers, fund raisers and people who will help out with a flag day and a bucket day on Mallow bridge!! If you would like to get involved please ring Keiran on (086) 812 7333 and get the 'Wheels' in motion for a very worthy and special cause!
