Mallow GAA AGM

Another year down and a changing of the guard last night for the 2012/2013 Mallow GAA AGM. Bartley Galvin who has served as Cathaoirleach, with distinction, for the past four years vacated the Chair last night under rapturous applause. He served his club with tremendous vigour, forward thinking and utter professionalism in those four years and has done himself, his family and his club proud beyond words and we at Mallow GAA would like to thank Bartley on his tireless work for the good of all at Carrigoon. A man with a very young family we are sure he is looking forward to spending more time at home. Of course Bartley will remain very active in the club and complex, as he has done even whilst a player a few moons ago, where he remains on the management committee for both, respectively. Our new Chairman for the coming year is, of course, no stranger to the club having been involved at many, many levels over the past twenty years and it is our great pleasure to welcome Keiran Murphy as Cathaoirleach for 2012/2013. Most recently Keiran has served as assistant Treasurer to Sean Ryan for the past number of years and is of course on the current management committee. So Mallow GAA would like to wish Keiran all the very best for the future. Keiran’s management committee  remains the same in the following Vice-Chairman Neil Corbett, Secretary Nuala Murphy, Treasurer Sean Ryan. Other postion’s filled last night Thursday were
