Our Minor Hurlers are out this Sunday 8th in the Minor Hurling Premier 1 Championship against Blackrock. The game is fixed for 730pm in Blarney and given Blarney is ten minutes up the road I’m sure ye’ll be there in droves!!!
Also this week and it’s the ever important Fr Declan Hennessy Intermediate Hurling perpetual cup between Mallow and St Catherines. This is now in it’s second year which was established to mark the passing of the irreplaceable Fr Deccie in 2010. The match is on this Saturday 7th July at 730pm in St Catherines home ground of Ballynoe. We hope a large contingent from the club will support the game!!
Ahead of the County draws next Tuesday night there is plenty of action in North Cork involving the club. You can’t beat the North Cork games for the local rivalries. On Monday night the Junior Footballers are back in action and they meet Buttevant in the N/C F quarter final and the game is in Doneraile at 730pm.. You know yerselves with local games how important the bit of support is!!
The Junior Hurlers are out in a league game on Wednesday night the 11th and they are playing Fermoy in Fermoy at 730pm. Incidentally they also meet Fermoy in the next round of the Championship so Wednesday night will be a fine taster of what’s to come.
Then next Saturday its the turn of the U-21 Hurlers who seem to be waiting an age to get going. They face Ballyhea in the first round of Championship on Saturday the 14th July at 4pm in Buttevant!! Best of luck to all involved..
Congratulations to Colm Sheehan(The Goalie) who got a nice touch of €1500 in the Cork clubs draw.. It definitely pays to enter every-year!!!
