This Saturday 9th April the club has been asked, through Mallow tidy towns and Cllr Ronan Sheehan, to get involved with their big Spring clean in the town. The club has decided to focus on the town park which has been reported to be in a very unsanitary and unsafe state as a venue for teams of all ages to start their summer training schedules. As the pitches in Carrigoon will be closing in cycles over the coming months to give the grounds a rest its in all our interest to get the place back to its former glory. Bishop Casey Park has a long lineage with the Club and the town and the blood and sweat of many a good man has been left down there. So its in all our interest to keep it at the standard of which we all have come to expect. We are all meeting down at the park this Saturday 9th April at 10am and all are welcome to help out. Katherine Long was so enthusiastic and caught up in community spirit that she turned up down the park last week!!! See you THIS Saturday Katherine…..

Congratulations to Club Chairman Bartley Galvin who recently won €500 in the Cork Clubs draw.. It pays to enter every year.
