Our Intermediate Hurlers put in a huge second half performance last Sunday against Blarney, to book a place in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship. Trailing by a point at half time Mallow finally found their feet and amassed a score of 4-8 in the third and fourth quarters of the game. The final score in Mourneabbey was Mallow 5-18 Blarney 1-21.. Well done lads!!!

Complex news
The complex is certainly resplendent in the sunshine at the moment with all our green areas around the complex looking lovely. Currently there is a lot of painting being done indoors and a lot of work done on the up keep of the building but over all the place looks magnificent. The drop of rain over the last number of days has helped the pitches, no end, after the prolonged dry spell and there has been a welcomed spurt of growth over the last few days.
This weekend will see Camogie teams from all over Munster come and share our grounds and no less than thirty five teams have been booked in for next Sunday’s Munster Camogie’s Super 7’s series. Why not come up from 10am on Sunday 2nd and see the action. Next weekend we will host double Munster finals in both Senior & Intermediate ladies Football.. Details of same to follow…
