Intermediate Footballers overcome Macroom..
Our footballers reached the quarter final of the Tom Creedon cup after defeating Macroom last Sunday morning in Carrigoon, in tough conditions!! Considering the time of year and a first outing for both teams it was a fine game to watch but Mallow were never really troubled! At half time it stood 0-9 to 0-4 in our favour and the second half pretty much continued in the same vein! The full time score was Mallow 0-14 Macroom 0-6 and Mallow now face the winners of Kiskeam and Carrigaline! At the time of going to print the game is to be played next Sunday 24th but is not confirmed as of yet! Please keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for updates!
