Ten from ten League wins see Mallow Footballers crowned Co. Intermediate Football Division 3 League Champions..

It took eighty minutes for Mallow to see off the challenge of Cill Na Martra, last Sunday, to take the spoils as Division 3 Champions after a fantastic League campaign this year, undefeated in the League. The sides were level no less than four times throughout normal time but Mallow had that bit more in the tank to pull away in extra time.

The full time score was Mallow 1-13 Cill Na Martra 1-11. The club would like to pass on their congratulations to Manager/Coach Paddy Sheahan along with his selectors Denis Casey and Colie Sheehan, their back room staff and of course Football sponsors Maureen’s Pub on a tremendous win. There will be a presentation of medals to our Footballers and an appreciation evening for our sponsors Noel and Anne Dinan, of Maureen’s Pub, in the coming weeks. MaghEalla ABU!!!
