Mallow GAA

Thanks to our fantastic, proud Hurling and Football sponsors O’Briens Garage, Cork Rd, Mallow and Maureen’s Pub for their kind support all year!!
While it was a terribly long week after the gut wrenching defeat at the weekend I’m sure we’re all very positive for the future at how how the Hurlers have performed during the year and it bodes well now for the future of Mallow Hurling. These lads will be back bigger and better than ever in next years Championship, thanks to all mentors and backroom team for their huge effort this year, to go within two points from a County final was crushing in one respect but so indicative of the effort put in by all concerned this year. We wish them all well!!  The Intermediate Hurlers as well as our Footballers will now turn their attention to winning their respective Leagues and we wish them well and of course eleven of the Intermediate Hurling team will turn their concentrations to the U-21 County Hurling Championships and a quarter final date with Fr. O’Neills has now been set for the 23rd of September at 730pm in Riverstown with the winners to play ‘The Rockies’ in the Semi Final on Oct. 3rd. We wish all our lads the very best of luck.
